Families are special, your memories are special. Choose somewhere important to you. Get silly. Get messy. Get cosy. I want to photograph your cuddles, your giggles, your sticky fingers, muddy feet, tiny fingers up your nose. We can do an in home session where you are most comfortable, or we can go on an adventure (or both!). What ever you love to do with your family, I will love to photograph.

How I approach my work

I have a laid back approach to photographing. I am here to document things as they really are and provide you with life long memories. I will offer some direction or give you things to do if it's needed, but leave it up to you to connect and have fun with each other, as that's where the best images come from, and helps make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I'm fun, unapologetically myself and don't come in with any agenda of what we will make, it's 100% guided by you.

If you just want people forcing a smile, I’m not the photographer for you.
We are here to have fun.

Sure, I'll do my best to get that mantle piece shot, but I won't guarantee it. I'm here to photograph the wild imaginations, the funny little quirks and what makes your family yours. Whether it be tickle fighting with your babies and dancing to the same song on repeat or having a drink and laughing with your adult kids; l'm here to document how much you love each other and things you love about your family.

I love a good chat, a good pat of a dog and I REALLY love what I do. I will always be completely my silly little self so that you (and your kids) are comfortable to be you.

FAQ

  • You can! If you see your proof gallery for Collection One, you can absolutely upgrade to the full gallery for an extra $500. Save $150 by booking Collection Two initially! Alternatively can purchase extra images at $25/digital image.

  • Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to include extended family in these sessions, just remembering time limits and the number of images/package you choose! I recommend Collection Two so your gallery includes all your people and some variety. You can add on extra time, or if you have an event in mind, please contact me about that specifically as this does not cover events such as birthday parties or wedding (and your gallery will not be delivered until this is resolved.)

  • Very good question. If you'd like an in home session, any time that is day time is great. I like to shoot in the lounge room and master bedroom mainly, so whenever they are fairly bright. However, if there's young children -any time they are happy and have napped is the best time!

    If it is at an outside location, 1.5 hours before sunset is my favourite time to start shooting to get that glorious golden light.

  • I am snap happy. I can't be stopped and like to give a full story of your family and your little quirks. My full galleries are between 300 and 500 images.

  • Sure do! My prices include travel from Brisbane to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast. If you live far from Brisbane CBD, please enquire about travel prices, starting at $50/hour.

  • To secure the date of our photo session, I require a non refundable retainer of $450 and a signed contract. Email me at hello@aimeecatt.com and I’ll send over all the paperwork!!

What’s next?

  • We book it in! I will send over all your paperwork

    I’ll send a booking form, contract and an invoice for your booking fee. Your booking form has all the info I’ll need so I can pick up what you’re putting down.

  • We plan, confirm

    From your booking form we’ll lock in details of location, time, date, people.

  • We have fun, take photos

    We shoot! Depending on what and where, I turn up, we have fun, I take a billion photos.

  • YOU GET PHOTOS

    If you’ve chosen Collection One, you’ll receive a watermarked proof gallery for you to choose the 50 you’d like to keep, I’ll edit those and send them for you to download (no watermark). Collection Two - you’ll get a preview within a few days and then a whole gallery of sooo many photos a few weeks later!
